Privacy Policy
Effective October 10, 2026
SkyTrace Golf ("SkyTrace", "the app") is built so that your videos and your data stay with you. The short version: we don't collect, store or sell your personal information.
What the app does not do
- No account or sign-in.
- No advertising and no ad tracking.
- No analytics or third-party tracking SDKs.
- Your videos are never uploaded to us. We have no servers that receive them.
Your videos and photos
SkyTrace only sees the videos you choose to add. Ball tracking, tracer drawing and exporting all happen on your device. Videos you add are copied into the app's private storage on your device and are removed when you delete the shot or the app. If you choose Save to Photos, the app asks for permission to add the exported video to your library; it does not read the rest of your library.
Maps and course search
The course map and 3D fly-over use Apple Maps. When you search for a course or view a map, the search text and the map area being viewed are sent to Apple to return results and imagery, under Apple's privacy policy. SkyTrace does not ask for or use your device's location. The tee and landing points you mark are stored only on your device.
Diagnostics
The app keeps a small technical log on your device (for example, export steps and memory use) to help diagnose problems. It is not sent anywhere automatically. If you contact support and choose to share details, we use them only to help you.
Purchases
If the app offers purchases, they are handled by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your payment details.
Children
SkyTrace does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
